What is the difference between FasTracKids and Enopi?

FasTracKids is an educational, fast-paced, highly interactive, cutting edge learning program that seeks to empower children with a mastery of communication and social skills. Our curriculum was tested over many years with thousands of children, and research demonstrated that on average, children who participated in the program for at least 6 months improved their communication and social skills by 150-200% against their peers. The classes are social, small, and engaging. By using SMART board technology, conducting experiments, working on projects, and engaging in public speaking activities, your child explores a variety of rich subjects ranging from Earth Science to Astronomy to Economics. What’s great is that students’ sessions are video taped and emailed home to parents!

E.nopi Math, Reading, & Writing is a world renowned individualized workbook-based study program, developed in S. Korea, designed to improve overall academic performance and build confidence at school. We cater to each student’s unique strengths and weaknesses. Students come to the center for 1-2 hours per week and receive personal attention and feedback from a certified E.nopi instructor. Through this program kids develop positive study habits and associations with learning.

FasTracKids FQA

1. Do you think 2 hours is too much after school? I worry my child can’t focus for that long.

FasTracKids is all about fun. The skill building is transparent to the children, (though will be very obvious to you!). Kids are engaged and stimulated the entire class. This is not meant to resemble school. Kids will be excited to come and learn with us. It is a very hands-on, interactive class; not a lecture.

2. My children are in school all day- why should I sign them up for enrichment?
How many times have you asked your child what they did in class and they told you “nothing”? Change the dialogue, change the energy, change the way they learn for life! Our FasTracKids are the most enthusiastic learners. They are empowered with real skills that will transcend their academic responsibilities. We develop little leaders both in thought and communication. This is not what they are learning in school!

3. What’s the difference between Tots and Explorers?
FasTracKids Explorers is a 2-3 day/week preschool alternative where children come for 3 hours each session. FasTrackTots is a 1 day/week, one hour class, generally for children who are already in a preschool.

E.nopi FAQ

1.What’s the difference between E.nopi and other Math & English supplementary programs?

While many competing programs are flat and rigid, E.nopi is a very robust program that is both flexible and balanced. Children use a wide variety of thoughtful manipulatives, in addition to workbooks, to develop basic and critical thinking skills. E.nopi is fun, tactile, and stimulating for children. The E.nopi philosophy is to see things from the children’s perspective and teach according to each child’s individual abilities and needs, thus promoting a positive association with learning and advancement. We offer both basic and critical thinking math. Rather than repeating concepts unnecessarily, we move children along at a pace appropriate to their development.

2. Will enopi help with standardized testing?
We are not a test prep center for standardized tests, but the concepts in our curriculum can really prepare children for tests by introducing relevant concepts and questions found in our curriculum. Our instructors are well versed in the concepts tested on the ERBs, OLSAT, and Gifted & Talented tests.

3. How small are the classes?
There are a maximum of twelve children per class. We maintain a minimum 3:1 student teacher ratio at all times.

4. Can children of different ages be in the same class?
Yes. Because children work independently we can have young children alongside older children. They work under the guidance of one of our certified teachers and advance according to their individual progress.

5. How many days a week should we come to E.nopi?
Based on your child’s diagnostic, your consultation with one of our instructors, and your goals, we recommend children generally come one to two hours per week. Younger children often come twice a week for two 45 minute or one hour sessions.
